TEDxBologna by TEDxBologna

Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, the TEDx program is designed to give communities the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

TEDxBologna 2011 was held in Bologna, Italy and this year’s organizers decided to enhance their attendees interaction with the event by offering them access to a custom created mobile web app. TEDxBologna mobile web app contains a home screen with the most relevant information (date and place of the event), a news module (with news that are relevant for them or a blog feed), a schedule module (the attendees can follow a neatly designed schedule), the attendance module (with speakers and attendees) and a sponsors module.

Of course there is also the social media layer and users can like, share or tweet the app.
