Extensions provide developers with valuable features beyond those that ship in Sencha’s frameworks, and are a very important part of the Sencha platform. At Sencha, we are investing to improve the ecosystem of extensions on our platform and I wanted to share an early look at our progress.
SenchaCon in Austin last week really reaffirmed our belief in the strength of the Sencha community – and most especially on day three, when we hosted our biggest ever Sencha Hackathon.
Our SenchaCon 2011 Contest encouraged our community to build the best apps possible with Sencha technologies. And, as ever, the entries did not disappoint! We had hundreds of application submissions, and the standard was extremely high.
Sencha.io Sync’s beta is now open to the public, and we’re excited to announce we’ve extended the SenchaCon app contest deadline by one week to let people integrate Sync to their projects.
