Michael Mullany
Michael has more than 12 years’ experience in product marketing and management for Silicon Valley software companies. Prior to Sencha, he held product and executive marketing roles at influential Silicon Valley startups Netscape, Loudcloud and VMware. At virtualization leader VMware, he served as the vice president of worldwide marketing during its break-out into server computing. Most recently, he was VP marketing & products for startups Engine Yard and Peakstream (acquired by Google). Michael has an extensive track record of defining and executing product and go-to-market strategies. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in economics from Harvard College.
Aditya Bansod
Aditya is Sencha’s senior director of product management and is responsible for the product planning and strategy for Sencha’s product lines. Prior to Sencha, Aditya held various senior product management roles at Adobe and Microsoft, focusing on developers and media in the mobile and consumer electronics space.
Ed Spencer
Ed Spencer leads the development of Ext JS and supporting projects. An expert with Ext JS and JavaScript in general and with several years experience with traditional server side frameworks, he has broad experience in API design and delivery. His passion is in crafting beautiful code that supports the world-class Sencha product line.
James Pearce
James Pearce heads developer relations at Sencha. He is a technologist, writer, developer and practitioner, who has been working with the mobile web for over a decade. Previously he was the CTO at dotMobi and has a background in mobile startups, telecoms infrastructure and management consultancy. James is the creator of tinySrc, the WordPress Mobile Pack, WhitherApps, modernizr-server and confess.js, and has written books on mobile web development for both Wiley and Wrox.
Alan Stokol
Alan is the Director of Developer Tools + Experience at Juniper Networks, Inc. where he drives product architecture and user experience for the Juniper’s (software) developer tools. Previously as a Design Director in the Experience Design Team at HP, he chaired the global UX committee and led efforts that resulted in standards and guidelines for software experience across Hewlett-Packard.
Chris Alfano
Chris started programming in high school to support his gaming habits, and co-founded Jarv.us Innovations after dropping out of business school so he could keep playing. He started using ExtJS at version 2 to build administration backends for websites, so when Sencha Touch was released that experience enabled him to quickly train and tool his web development team for building cross-platform mobile apps using the skills they’d already tuned. In addition to leading development at Jarv.us, Chris is the architect of the open-source Emergence platform and helps the Science Leadership Academy apply technology to building the ultimate School 2.0.
Cyrus Mistry
Cyrus is currently the Senior Product Manager in charge of the Chrome and Chrome OS for Business, Education, and Government software development ecosystem. Cyrus has managed the consumer and enterprise sides of several products at Google including Google Calendar, Google Tasks, the search appliance business, the Google Mini, and Google Enterprise Labs. Cyrus has 13 years of software experience with roles in software development, consulting, program management, product management, marketing, and business development. Cyrus has four degrees from Johns Hopkins with Masters work in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
Stephen Pond
Stephen Pond is a key contributor to the Enterprise Mobility Group at Sabre Holdings, Southlake ,Texas. This group is responsible for the architecture, design, creation and deployment of ubiquitous mobile services, exploiting technology advances. With his background in developing client-side web applications, utilizing ExtJS and other client-rich frameworks, Stephen’s skills are essential.
Among others, Stephen’s contributions include developing new capability for GetThere, a corporate travel application. With the release of Sencha Touch 1.0, Stephen leveraged both the framework’s MVC and rich Ajax components to create one of the first HTML5 mobile travel applications. The application is industry-recognized, permitting corporate travelers advanced mobile tools to to book flights and hotels. Stephen continues his work to advance design and development of mobile applications for the travel and tourism industry.
Abraham Elias
Abraham is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction and enabling its rapid growth as a global provider of application development software and services. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at BH Capital Partners. Abraham’s results driven management and introduction of commercial open source solutions enabled BH Capital to become one of the fastest growing privately held companies in Florida. Abraham brings an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of achieving revenue goals and profit growth.
