Hi All,

I have observed a styling/positioning issue with the combo box when placed in a toolbar using IE8 in both standards and quirks mode. When comparing to FF you can see that the combo box is positioned one pixel too high when rendered in IE8. Just look at the example http://www.extjs.com/deploy/dev/examples/menu/menus.html, the second aspect to the problem, is that the field (but not the arrow) moves up another pixel when disabled.

I was able to fix using the follow css:

.ext-ie8 .x-toolbar-cell .x-form-field-wrap {
top: 1px;
}

.ext-ie8 .x-toolbar-cell .x-item-disabled .x-form-text {
top: 0px;
}
