Ext 3.1

I use a button in the toolbar

new Ext.Toolbar.Button({
id: 'btn',
cls: 'x-btn-text-icon',
icon: '/images/icon.gif',
text: 'Apple'
})

Ext.getCmp('btn').setText('Orange')

will change the button's text.

if the cls is changed to 'x-btn-text'

new Ext.Toolbar.Button({
id: 'btn',
cls: 'x-btn-text',
text: 'Apple'
})

Ext.getCmp('btn').setText('Orange') will not change the display.
but poking under firebug, I can see that the button's text property is already changed.

This is working fine in Ext 2.2

Your description is a bit unclear, I'm not really sure what you're getting at here.

Can you please follow the bug guidelines: http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?71015-Posting-to-the-Bug-Forum
