trying to create a basic xml store and getting this error:

TypeError: Result of expression 'meta' [undefined] is not an object. /js/sencha/ext-touch-debug.js:11719

here is the code

var techStore = new Ext.data.XmlStore({
url: 'test.xml',
record: 'technician',
idPath: 'id',
fields: [
{name: 'id'},
{name: 'name'}
]
});

What does the data look like? Where are you loading the store?

I am loading under onReady in Ext.setup, here is a look at the data:

<technicians>
<technician>
<name>Bill</name>
<id>2</id>
</technician>
</technicians>

Is there a fix/workaround for this feature already available? I have the same problem here.

Hello all,
it seems that most (or maybe all) of the examples provided in the examples folder read data using json.
Are there samples available, reading data from an xml source?
Any ideas when this issue will be fixed? Maybe a roadmap for 0.92 ?

Thanks,
Michael.

There's currently a few issues with the data package that we're looking into now. We'll have them fixed shortly.

TypeError: Result of expression 'meta' [undefined] is not an object. /js/sencha/ext-touch-debug.js:11719Same problem here switched to JSON and get the stuff running :-) XMLReader would be much nicer to read RSS Feeds.

Hi,
is there are roadmap/schedule for the next beta release, where this bug is fixed and xml data sources can be used properly?
