Customised horizontal scrolling list.

I want it to look like this:

Any Idea what would be the best way to achieve something like this?

Tabs? Toolbar?

I am not sure if Sencha Touch has a image list or an image container which I can arrange horizontally with Active and Normal states and listeners.

Is it all one image, or a letter for each image?

Its one image per alphabet.
The images are square images (white box with a letter or a picture inside it).

Highlighted one needs to have a coloured border.

Any suggestions?

I tried using Splitbuttons, buttons, Tabbar.... but nothing is ableto give me the result I am looking for.

This might be a good to add as a feature?
