What are the ways to unselect a tabitem?

i.e. you have a TabPanel consisting of Mary, Jane and Peter (all TabItems).

Supposed I click Mary. What are the ways to 'unselect' Mary, without having to click on Jane or Peter? ideally, upon 'Events.Select()' when I fire an event for Mary, Jane or Peter, respectively, i'd like to automatically 'unselect' the TabItem in the same event... thereby allowing it clickable once again.

You can call tabPanel.setSelection(yourothertabitem);

However, i would listen to the Events.BeforeSelect event and cancel the event if you dont want to allow it.
