TreePanel Hide Root Node?

Can this be done? I thought it was possible with regular Ext using something like "rootVisible: false", but I don't see anything in the GXT Docs. Am I blind? I didn't find anything for GXT on the forum related to this, just stuff for regular Ext.

No it is not possible. GXT is not based on ExtJS and so some features are different.

When you dont want to show a particular node, why do you add it to the store in the first place?
