Editor grid slows down with 300 rows

we have an ediotr grid on window popup with 300 rows. when we try to edit one of the columns it takes a while to
show the text box and also takes while for keyed in numbers to show up.

The number of columns are around 25 and the browser is Internet explorer

Reducing the requirements by paginating your grid data (display less than 300 rows) would be my suggestion. Start with some arbitrary number of rows (10, 25, 50, 100) and find the tipping point between performance and usability.
