View Full Version : Can we see an *actual* changelog (commit messages) for releases?

We got burned badly enough by the 0.94 release that we're cautious of upgrading anymore. (Yes, I understand it's beta software and will change). Having an actual changelog -- not just Sencha-perceived highlights -- will guide us through potential landmines.

If you are really interested in the code changes made between release to release I'd suggest using a folder diff program and going through what has changed.

That might be useful, yes, and I should give that a try. But it doesn't give the *why* behind the *what* quite like a changelog would.

*Update:* The usefulness of a diff is questionable. DiffMerge reports 1216 changes and the diff minimap is basically a solid red bar.

After the 1.0 public release we will probably have a subscriber repo that you could get the log from. Until then this probably won't happen.
