Hi Wemerson,

Sure you can attend. It is a Webex meeting, so you will be able to join and watch via the internet. The audio consists of dialing into the conference line, which has international lines available. When you join the session, you are prompted with a long list of international phone numbers. You dial your number and then entered the access code and attendee id that is given to you (shown on the same prompt).

And speaking of video: for those who cannot attend, the entire session will be recorded and can be viewed at a later date.

Hello,

I was a bit confused about this. At about 6:15pm GMT (15 minutes after the expected beginning of the webinar) there was an announcement regarding the presenter's internet connection and that it was down and that the webinar would be rescheduled for a later date, so I left, and then just an hour or so later I received an e-mail saying that I wasn't there.

Question: Was there a webinar then or not? If there was, has it been recorded as per Jarred's post above?

Hey peanutmedia & everyone,

I owe everyone an apology who showed up for today's webinar only to be disappointed. A strange cataclysmic string of well-timed events occurred that caused the webinar to have to be rescheduled. We are rescheduling for next week, same day and time. The subject of this thread has been updated accordingly.

I'm very pleased that you signed up to participate and I do hope you are able to join next week.

Will a recording of the webinar be available for people like me from Australia?

Thanks!

Many thanks for the webinar Jarred!

We appreciate the time you put into it. It's really nice to validate my style of working with Designer with your video and to pickup some new tips.

With the upmost respect: please get a new headset (or something!) The sound quality is pretty poor, and for the most part I could makeout what you're saying. But in places it breaks up (might've been your internet connection though).

Has been very ilustrative but I found it somewhat incomplete.

It would be nice if were "converted" and/or re-recorded as tutorial (video or static) with the complete application.

I get from ther the hack to set the writer in the store but I have my doubts if really worked at last (see my post "How to add a writer to JsonStore? (http://www.sencha.com/showthread.php?117972-How-to-add-a-writer-to-JsonStore&p=548999)") since store doesnt send data to server until save() is called because events which monitors the insert, update and deleted arent installed unless writer is set at store creation. Also record deletion isnt tracked because one of those events are the responsible of registering those records in the removed records array.

Regards.

@ssamayoa, indeed a tutorial that is a canned edited presentation would be better. As to your writer issue, see my response: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?117972-How-to-add-a-writer-to-JsonStore&p=550888#post550888

I have converted the video in WMV... if Jarred agree, I can upload it

The original webcast can be downloaded then viewed using the WebEx's player.

It self has a very usefull information but incomplete since Jarred ran out of time (Murphy was busy that day).

What I think we need is some kind of centralized "how-to". The hacks, tricks and best practices are spread across the forums.

I can start to write about in my teen son's site (http://www.bliipstudio.com (http://www.bliipstudio.com/)) but this will disperse more the knowledge.

So, what should be the path?

Regards.

I'm interested in the recorded webinar but couldn't manage to actually view it following the link http://sencha.com/x/5q. Clicking the download or the playback button leads me to event listing where I can't find this webinar. Any help on how to view the webinar?
