Hello! I have an Ext form which I submit using the Ext.form.FormPanel.submit method, and the responce is formed as xml. The problem is that Ext is trying to parse it as json, and produces a syndax error. Is there a way to parse that xml? Do I have to submit the form manually?

Currently it's not supported, your best bet would be to create a subclass and override the submit method.

are there plans on upgrading the xml support?

I have a similar issue, I'm expecting a raw html from the response and I'm getting an error. I think its because it expects a JSON object. Is there a property to get raw response?

I am going through the same problem,
I am expecting an XML response from the following request:

REQUEST:

http://domain.sub.com/Service.asmx/LoginService?body={"Username":"maj@smaj.com","Password":"p12345","Token":122112321123212123,"Method":"Login","LabId":"(null)","Hash":"fr3f33f3334348u8yy8hfuhdu8bdy7y89u89x8998c89789c87d78r9","DeviceType":"iPhone Simulator","DeviceId":"91BF3299-A94C-5AD3-9C35-A5C9BBBB6AA8","ApplicationType":"iPhone","Id":"998390494"}

And the response is:

RESPONSE:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<string xmlns="http://domain2.sub2.com/MobileWebService/">{"Id":"null","Message":"Logged In.","Status":true,"LoggedIn":true}</string>

I now have to verify the login based on above response.

Any kind of help will be highly useful for me as I am totally new to Sencha touch.
