I'm getting up-to-speed with Sencha Touch and have made heavy use of the API Docs. However, I still have yet to find anything that describes a few critical parts of the API. I wonder if I'm missing them or if no documentation exists. I've tried learning by example, but that can only take you so far when you can't look up what the definition of something is to figure out all the implications.

Some of the things I've not found a single mention of in the API are "fullscreen", "dockedItems", "align", "pack", "ui", etc. properties. Is there some documentation somewhere? I've also looked at the Ext JS docs to no avail, in case that's where it was.

Thanks!

Fullscreen is in the panel docs: http://tdg-i.com/img/screencasts/2010-09-27_1450.png

dockedItems needs to be implemented in the documentation.

align : Ext.layout.HBoxLayout or VBoxLayout (needs to be re-introduced into the docs).

Thanks, you are correct. I think on fullscreen, it's just that the doc searching is not finding anything if I search for "fullscreen". No idea why (this is searching for "fullscreen" at API Home at http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/docs/).

Any idea on things like "pack", "ui", etc.? Or is the basic answer that they aren't documented yet?

That's because the search is looking for Ext JS 2.x methods and properties. It really should not be in the documentation.

For what it's worth, the search feature does not work well for 3.x documentation too.

I'm not really sure I fully understand your first comment, but is the basic answer "api docs search is broken"?

Yes :)
