Hi all,

I did read about Sencha in a magazine and I want to know how to make an Smartphone app.
I did download Sencha Touch, found the Getting Started with Sencha Touch.

First point I see is:

Set up your Environment
Download the Sencha Touch Libraries.

Make sure your development environment is set up.
Make sure your development and production Web servers are properly installed and configured.
Know the name of the CSS file you want your application to use. You will need this file name when you create the application HTML file in the next step.
But how do I set up and configure my develop and production Webserver...

Can someone tell me where I can find documentation about that?

Thank you for your help.

Environment is relative. You need to make a choice as to what back-end you're going to use.

If you're just at the very beginning stages of programming, you will need to learn how to implement a back-end. PHP is a good back-end for developers who are newbies to web programming.
