Based on touch event examples in Sencha Touch, it seems that any of touch events are bound to el property and el property becomes available to work with when afterrender event is dispatched. And then we have to use Ext.mon().

So it's kinda of cumbersome dealing with such events in a such manner.

Are there any plans all these events to be dispatched like regular component events, so we can add listeners for every one of them through addListener() or listeners config property or the provided example is final and this is the way to deal with all these events.

In Titanium Mobile for example, you can add a listener directly to any of the touch events without the need to listen to afterrender event or hook into after afterRender() method.
