Hello

I've created a sample little app with Sencha Touch and tried it out on my iPhone. After bookmarking it to the homescreen, it loads like a normal app. However if I press the home button to suspend the app, after loading it again (either from the homescreen or via the multitasking-bar) the whole app reloads itself.

This also happens with the examples from dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples.

Is there a way to prevent this and just "freeze" the app when it's suspended?

That would be up to Mobile Safari I would think. I tried adding http://www.sencha.com to my home screen and then launched it and it reloaded the site so that tells me that is the normal behavior of Mobile Safari.

Go Apple Go!

So why does it work with sencha.com but not with the examples? Or does it work for you with them too?

I said it reloads http://www.sencha.com just like it is reloading your app. So it reloads your app when you click the icon and it will reload a normal page. May need to google it to see if there is a way but don't be surprised if you cannot yet.
