Can't type into textarea on the desktop

I've got a textarea that you can't type into when on browsing on Chrome on the desktop. However it works fine on the iphone. Any ideas?

what version of touch are you using? These seems to be a old bug.

.97. As a workaround if you hold the left mouse button and type at the same time it works. Scroll bars are still missing though.

oh i see. Well it seems 0.97 is kinda buggy. Im sticking with .96. It seems the focus event isnt getting fired.
