View Full Version : Ext.regModel() in API?

Where is "Ext.regModel()" in the api docs (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/docs/)? This call is used here (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples/carousel2/index.js), for example. Thanks.

It's just a shortcut for http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/docs/?class=Ext.ModelMgr&member=registerType

Is that shortcut documented in the API? In the general case, how would I find out which method a shortcut like that is referring to?

I am curious about this as well, when I try to look things up in the documentation I have a hard time finding out where these shortcuts lead. Is there a place that lists all the shortcuts?

Apparently this is deprecated in Ext 4, so I wonder if it has any future in Touch or if this will also get deprecated at some point? I wish both Touch and Ext would settle on a single way to do things so that I don't have to re-read the API docs everytime I switch from one to the other.
