Hello Everyone,
Just learnt that KDE4's Plasma framework will support Javascript and an HTML Widget. According the the announcement it seems that a developer will be able to use Javascript/HTML and CSS to create KDE4 Widgets, Applications and other cool Panel Applets.
If this is true then it would only be a matter of time before we start seeing some ExtJS based Linux apps.

Because Konquerer is not supported by Ext, i can imagine that JS apps based on EXT will not work, given that the same JS engine will do the work.

according to this thread there were some Ext patches for konquerer introduced since Ext 1.1RC2.
has anyone tried Ext 1.1 in konquerer yet?

Konqueror seems to mostly work. Tested Tree, Grid, Layout, Forms, BasicDialog, JsonView.
Animations don't seem to work. Tree had little broken images covering it until I clicked on it. After a while I got a popup saying a script on the page is causing Konqi to freeze and the app slowed down quite a bit. Don't know if that's my own sloppy programming or Ext or Konqueror.
Don't forget that they're also going to make plenty of enhancements to KHTML, I would bet that getting Konqi to handle more Web applications is going to be high on their list of priorities.
