Hi,

I am starting reviewing the sencha touch framework to proof whether we can use it for our applications. I don't know where, but I read something about an "integrated Framework" called: http://raphaeljs.com/

is this also useable alon with sencha touch?
As a example let's say I would like to program a clock. The animation and painting stuff should be done bye raphaeljs and the "normal" gui by sencha touch.
Is this possibe or still integrated? (Did't found any hints in the docs)

One thing to consider is that Raphael uses SVG which isn't supported on Android devices. If Android support is important, there are a few <canvas> based frameworks that would work. Most notably, Processing.js e.g. http://processingjs.org/learning/basic/clock

so if i understood you, there's nothing implemented in sencha touch which helps me painting to a screen, so that I HAVE to use another external lib..?

There will be a cross-platform drawing API in a forthcoming version of Sencha Touch. It will work on all devices.

It's similar to Raphael. In fact the author of Raphael is one of the key developers of it!
