PrependText Broken?

Apologize in advance if this has already been answered already, but is the "PrependText" attribute for a selectfield type broken in 1.0? I'm in the process of refactoring from 0.98, and it appears to have stopped working. I was also able to confirm this with the Kiva demo (from which I got the idea) in 1.0.1.

Anyone else having problems with PrependText? Wanted to see if it was just me before I put in a bug report...

I think that feature(PrependText) is been removed after 0.98 version.
