Updating images and data store

I have created a web portal designed for an iPad which includes a dashboard carousel with images and a data store list from a JSON string. The images are gauges and charts (in png) which get updated every 5 minutes. I am new to Sencha Touch so how do I refresh the images on my dashboard at a timed interval?

afaik is their no special implementation for your issue, but you can use the javascript setInterval() to in call a function every given time. may that helps you
