I'd like to say one fat ass congratulations to Dustin Diaz and his partner Ross Harmes for completing their "pro javascript patterns" book! I've been a long-time fan of Dustin Diaz and to see him publish his first book makes me very happy for him.

I wish I had waited for this one instead of buying John Resig's "Pro JavaScript Techniques". Its a good book but too basic for what I was looking for and too much content on using base Ajax constructs. I was looking for more core Javascript use and patterns. Oh well, I might have to bite the bullet and get this one too after its out and I've had a change to see the TOC and reviews.
