Hey,

Just checking out Sencha and would love some advice!

I've got a classified ads website, the ad details are saved in a MySQL database. I want to create a mobile page that displays the recent ads, formatted to maybe show thumnail, title, price, description etc.

I'd like the list and interface to look like a native app.

Can I achieve this with Sencha? Any pointers to tutorials would be great. Or even if there's something other than Sencha that'd be better suited.

Thanks!

Here is a quick sample of what I do to get the data from sql and update a list.

var newdata = []
for (var i = 0; i < numRecords; i++) {
var record = data[i];
newdata.push({
'city': record[0]
});
}
CityStore.loadData(newdata);

As for how it looks it's up to you how you style it.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm new to Sencha though so have no idea where that code would go! Might be useful if I go with Sencha and look more into it though...
