Has anyone out in the community given any thoughts on how to implement a replica version of Google's new instant preview?

We've been implementing a search tool for one of our projects that brings back list of results populated within a grid with row expand capabilities (via RowExpander UX). Our client would like us to implement capabilities of the tool for previewing search result contents. I suppose one can do this via ToolTip and XTemplates. Google instant preview replica would be ultimate...

Anyone care to share any ideas/discussions/ways on doing this? Perhaps one's already started new plugin development?

Did you do a Google search on how to do this?

Found two off the bat:

The Google Instant Preview is really just an AJAX tooltip... What exactly are you looking for in a replica?

Thanks for respond Brad. I understand underneath the hood, it's really just an AJAX tooltip (maybe even some templates involved as well). I was looking to see if anyone out in the community had a plugin already that replicated the same look and feel (the actual GUI interface).

I had a similar requirement about two months ago.

I simply used an combobox like this example: http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/dev/examples/form/forum-search.html

Changed my template to show two rows of information for my particular use case.
