Very Good Book!!!

I have the Learning ExtJs book also.

Ive been in programming going back over 25 years. Started out on the IBM System 34. There were no servers, PC's yadayadayada back then. I program almost exclusively on the IBM System i (AS/400), but ExtJS is by far the best thing to come along in my experience. It will change the System i market from top to bottom.

Thank You Folks for all your efforts. Keep up the good work.

I was just as happy when I got Jay's book :)

Ok, maybe just a touch less, but I did tear the box open as fast as I could.

Glad your enjoying Ext JS davisty.

My company also picked up 4 copies of your book to distribute to the developers! Love it!

Thanx Bunches ...

Any new word on extjs 4.0 release date?

I bet that thing is going to be awesome. I bet that software will just write itself, and I get to kick back with my feet up. It'll just read my mind and know what I want.

I knew I made the right framework decision...

I'm a bit fuzzy on the Ext 4 dates. I'll be honest, Sencha Touch in action has me pretty busy, along w/ all of the other stuff i'm working on. :-\

I would buy your book immediately if you offered it on kindle. I am literally out of space for any more physical books.

Hi Jesus,

I am glad that there is someone having written a book on ExtJS - I am interesseted in Sencha touch. Is it better to wait for your new book on this, or is ExtJS a good start even on Sencha touch?

Thanks and have a nice day

Stefan

I would not want to read my own book on a kindle because there are tons of illustrations.

Just bought it because I got really curious on the last chapters that you mentioned in your blog. Can't wait to read it :)

I wanted a book that showed some advanced concepts like inheritance and architecture in general.

Thank you for your support ;). The book covers some advanced stuff that can be further enhanced. I was limited as to the scope of what I could cover.

Jesus,

On page 165, you mention a format which the server must respond. In figure 7.8 there is a reference to stcCallback1001.

Im not sure that Im following you there. What is stcCallback1001? Ive never used the scripttagproxy. All my code (so far) has been samedomain so Im not familiar with this concept.

Thanx for any help you can offer.

Ty
