Problem in parsing cross-domain xml file from localhost

Hi,
I am trying to parse a XML feed located on a remote server, but with no success. I tried using proxy but ajax proxy allows only call on the same domain while scripttag proxy is used for json objects.Can someone please help me out here.

Are you developing on a Mac? if so, do you have XCode with the iPhone/iPad Simulator?.

I had the same problem, as i say in this post (Post #10):

If i open the html directly, instead of pointing to localhost/myproject/index.html, in Safari the XML file loads fine. If i compile the project with phonegap and test it on the simulator it works just fine too.

Only thing is haven't been able to open the html on Windows with Safari, only on Mac.
