How to optimize the performance of Sencha Touch

Hi, guys
First of all, I want to say Sencha Touch is very good framework for mobile development.
But i found it is little slow when running in my android mobile(android 2.1, Moto MB525), so i want to ask how to optimize the performance of Sencha Touch.
should i destory the element or hidden it when the element is not visible.
what should i pay attention to.
