setting the scroll property on the textarea will produce a broken form element. Conversely, long content does not cause the element to scroll on its own.

Version: 1.1.0

Affected Browsers: Safari (desktop), Chrome (desktop), iOS Simulator/Mobile Safari

new Ext.form.TextArea({
value: "Anything, really",
scroll: 'vertical',
})
The parent container is a plain Ext.Panel with flex: 1, scroll: 'vertical'

There are a couple of similar issues in other threads on the help forum. For example: http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?119403-textarea-scroll-renders-incorrectly-on-Kitchen-Sink&highlight=textarea+scroll (with screenshot)
... and this one might be related ...

I think this is a pretty big deal and for many apps, a show stopper until it gets fixed.

I can confirm this. In my app this happens too. No matter if scroll is vertical, horizontal or both. I didn't find any workaround and I'm interested if someone else has.

Just posted a scrolling workaround - it doesn't fix the broken layout but re-enables native textarea scrolling in iOS (i.e. you don't have to use scroll: 'vertical').
