SenchaCon 2011 is coming!

This year’s event (http://sencha.com/senchacon2011) will be held October 23rd – October 26th in Austin, Texas.

We hope you’ll join us for our friendly, highly-interactive, hands-on conference and hackathon. We’re excited to share with you the latest developments with our frameworks and tools, and we’re creating an environment for you to share your ideas, applications, and code samples.

We just announced tickets, and if you bag one of the first 200 tickets here (https://secure.lenos.com/lenos/sencha/SenchaCon2011/areg.htm.asp), you'll save yourself a very useful $400.

Also, if you'd like to propose a speaking session, we're accepting submissions (https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dG1lVUt0OWNmZTB3RTdZQVFsRjdwTkE6MQ&ndplr=1#gid=0) until the end of July.

(And finally, stay tuned for news about the hackathon - you'll definitely want to come and show us your Sencha hacking skills on the final day...)

You won’t want to miss this awesome event. We're looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hi. I'm considering this event but I'm only interested in Sencha Touch, not the other Sencha products. Can I expect a full Sencha Touch session track?

I see the list of sessions is out. Some good sessions in there.

I would love to see a session on incorporating automated tests into ExtJS.
Last year's session on Jasmine was helpful, but doesn't look like there is anything like that this year.

There was also talk last year of Sencha's VisualQA tool.... a session on that would be excellent.

My 2 cents.

Last year's session was just a basic introduction to Jasmine. If this were a session I would much prefer an in depth dive into testing components and MVC controllers using Jasmine. I think that it is a shame that there are so few examples on automated testing best practices with ExtJS.

Well, here's to hoping they move "Hardware Acceleration on Mobile" to one of the open Sencha Touch slots and then replace it with an automated testing session under "Web Tech & Tools".

I hope the TBA slot will be filled with an "Error handling ST best practices" talk, that makes the trip from The Netherlands to TX even more valuable for me :)

considering you are interested in where touch is going, you should look at ExtJS... it's the future of touch (the watered down version of extjs)...

I saw more awesome Ext JS and Sencha Touch apps than I could count, and was pleasantly surprised to see how many people had been able to construct full applications using Sencha Touch 2 despite it only being in developer preview right now. It was also great getting to spend time hanging out with people and seeing them get excited when they start to see what’s possible with these products. Spending time in the cialis (http://yourpharmacare.com)

flesh with developers is probably the most important part of the whole conference so it was great to meet so many of you.

BBQ at Stubbs! So much fun hanging out and have a drink with folks from the community, and an awesome live performance by Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. They would be at the Fillmore later if you want to catch them in San Francisco.
