1) Is it possible to populate the inline editable grid using DWR?
2) Is it possible to populated the data from Apache BeanUtils' DynaClass/DynaBean without pre-knowledge of the columns (name, type, size...)?

Do some searches on this in the forums - there have been several people that have done this.
