Portrait Display Issue Using iPad simulators

Hi,

I've been running into a portrait display issue when running the "Hello World" tutorial using the Sencha framework. I've downloaded some AIR iPad simulators and whenever I turn it from landscape to portrait, it doesn't scale out properly.

Is this a known issue with iPad simulators that is not experienced using an actual iPad?

If it is not just a problem with the simulator, how are people resolving this issue?

The only simulator that I would trust is the one from Apple. The others are 3rd party and may not function properly.
