Hello everybody!
In the blog post about the SenchaCon 2011 App Contest, there is the following statement:
We expect competing applications to use the latest versions of our JavaScript SDKs (namely Ext JS (http://www.sencha.com/products/extjs/)and Sencha Touch (http://www.sencha.com/products/touch/)), and encourage you to use our Sencha.io Cloud Services (http://www.sencha.com/products/io/).
But Sencha.io Sync is still a limited developer preview. I applied to be included in this limited preview but never received any response. I applied under two different email addresses in case there was a problem with my first submission.
It doesn't seem very fair to me to have a contest where the use of a certain technology is considered in the judging process when that technology is only made available to a limited number of people. I think that the use of Sencha.io Cloud Services should either be made available to everyone or it should not be included in the SenchaCon App Contest.
