Is there an autocomplete plugin similar to this jQuery based one http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/autocomplete?

Thank you

Martin

Hi Martin.
At the moment there is not an autocomplete plugin available for Sencha Touch, but it would be notthing really hard to develop if you have good a knowledge of the framework.

What I have done is have a Panel (using FitLayout) with a top docked Container (using HBoxLayout) with a Text field and a Button. On the wrapping Panel, I have a List. Then add a listener for the keydown on the Text field that filters the Store (remotely or locally, doesn't matter) of the List.

Now, if you don't want a whole Panel to do this and want more of a Select field look, wrap the List in a Panel that is floating and show it by the Text field. Behavior is the same, just the mixing of the widgets are different.

Please don't double post the same thing across multiple threads.
