Requirement: Implement an editor for manipulating text, images, and tables without interfering with pre-defined template fonts, colors, alignments, and overall structure.

It was decided to use the ExtJS Ext.form.HtmlEditor (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-3.4.0/docs/source/HtmlEditor.html#cls-Ext.form.HtmlEditor)[^ (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-3.4.0/docs/source/HtmlEditor.html#cls-Ext.form.HtmlEditor)] component as the system already uses the ExtJS framework. But in order for this to work, the component had to be configured correctly and extended to handle:
Copy and paste from MS Word => Ext.ux.form.HtmlLintEditor (https://gist.github.com/1198308)[^ (https://gist.github.com/1198308)]
Manipulation of tables => Ext.ux.form.HtmlTableEditor (https://gist.github.com/1198324)[^ (https://gist.github.com/1198324)]

ps.When making this entry I used, what I am assuming to be, the new ExtJS HtmlEditor that seems to come stock with what I am talking about. Anyways, if you need the functionality for the 3.x version of the component, I hope that you may find it somewhat useful.

ps. Further reading led me to discover the ExtJS HtmlEditor plugins by VinylFox: https://github.com/VinylFox/ExtJS.ux.HtmlEditor.Plugins. I think that he has done an excellent job and would recommend (without testing) his solution over mine.

Thank you.
