How to dock a component to a list?

How can an individual dock a component to the top or bottom of a list? I ask because I would like a list title that scrolled up and down along with the list when the list is scrolled through. I've looked through the api documentation and can see no config option for docking which is surprising as I see it for other components.

You cannot.

To achieve this, you have to nest a List inside a Panel and dock your component(s) to the Panel. Make sure you have layout: 'fit' on the Panel or else the scrolling won't work on the List.
