Hi guys,
For those of you who are interested in getting the most out of your IDE for Ext development (code assist etc..), I've collated the combined knowledge scattered throughout the forums into a wiki entry on Eclipse based IDEs (http://extjs.com/learn/Manual:Resources#IDEs). This includes the excellent Aptana and Spket IDEs.
I've included simple instructions for setting up my favourite configuration (first suggested by spacyspacy (/forum/member.php?u=6296) in this forum thread (/forum/showthread.php?t=8542&page=2)) which is a combination of Aptana, Spket and Ext code assist based on the latest version of Ext to hand (either the latest public release or the SVN version for those lucky enough to have access).
All the better to explore Ext2 with!
Patrick
