Export Grid to Excel

Before posting this question I searched the premium forum and found that this question has already been posted a number of times (links below) but none has been answered.

I just bought Sencha Suit but am stuck with exporting to Excel. Please guide me that how can I export the data in grid to Excel. I want to export the filtered data as well. Having said that, if any filter has been applied using the built in filters feature then only the filtered data must be exported.

Please help ASAP.

The best thing to do is launch the excel form the server. The Excel program is then launched automatically.

Old ways to export data are: convert your grid into a plain html table or create a csv file. Excel can readthat. The best thing to do is post your gridfilters to the server and recreate your dataset with that.
