datefield - show only month and year and close after select

Hi!

Please help me configuring Ext.form.field.Date
what show only month and year,
and after select month and click OK calendar hide and selected date insert in input box.

I do not know that is possible. The datefield shows the days with it.

Why not create a simple window? put a combobox on it with the month values in it. And a second numberfield with spinner on it for the years.

Or take a FieldContainer with to the two fields on it, in that case you do not need a pop-up. That would be a more friendly solution for your users, because it takes less mouse clicks to it.
