ext1.1.1-ext2.0 grid performance

Hi all,

I am new with ExtJS and I have started working on grid.

I need to display tables with 3-4000 rows and 8-10 cols... and seem that ExtJS is a little bit slow on grid render or to change column size :(

Is there some trick to speed up grids?

Is ext2.0 faster than ext1.1.1 on grid management?
