Update process ....best solution

Hi! I've an app that reads records from a remote DB.

I've a list of items (that I import during each update) and linked to each item of list I've other details/info to show .... now I don't know if is better to import all details during update or only when detail il called by user.

How does it works facebook (or twitter)? It seems that in fb app (or tw app) details are called every time!

It's ok to have all detail in a store to an extent. You don't want to transfer 100 kb worth of data.

Do you mean that during each update process my Json file must be < of 100 kb?
