Popup Calendar inside a dialog

Does anyone have an example on how to get a popup calendar to render above a dialog. I have date field in a remote page that gets called into the dialog, but the calendar renders behind the dialog. I am also having that same problem with a collapsable panel in the borderlayout. My west region contains a date field that has a popup calendar but the calendar renders behind the west panel.

There are several posts in this forum regarding this. 1st thing to check is that the calendar is getting a higher z-index than the dialog.

yes, is there any sample or link on how to do this? this will be useful in big screen devices like ipad and tablets. thanks.
