how to improve start up load time

What is sencha doing during that initial start up load time?
On my MacBook pro there is over a second (on devices several seconds) between the last of my javascript being interpreted and my application being launched.
When my application is taking a couple of hundred milliseconds.
Its not loading javascript since the code has finished being interpreted?
What is sencha doing in this time?
Is there anyway to trim this time down?

You can trim it down by doing a custom build and including the classes you need. This is a trial and error process.

Surely that will just cut down on time to interpret?

There wasn't a huge amount I was able to remove (maybe ten percent)
but it made zero difference :(
