Is placeholder a property that can be used on a panel in Designer 2? I'm not seeing it, but maybe I'm overlooking it?

I dont see any placeholder property for panel in the docs. Its only available for field type widgets
http://docs.sencha.com/touch/2-0/#!/api/Ext.Panel

What are you trying to do? Maybe we can suggest some alternatives.

Very sorry, I should have specified in my post that the project I'm working on is desktop using Ext JS 4.0.7. In an existing project I've used a placeholder of type toolbar in place of the normal header component for a collapsed panel in a viewport with a border layout. I was prototyping in Designer 2 and had the same layout and wanted to see how easy it was to add a placeholder and didn't see the property.

Thx

Is placeholder in Ext JS projects in Designer 2 something that might be in the final release or is it in there now perhaps and I just overlooked it?

It's a pretty uncommon feature that we haven't looked at adding support for yet.

Ok. Gotcha.
Do you know if there are other properties in the 4.x API that aren't likely to be in the Designer 2.0 GA release?

None that jump to mind.
