Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a way to make the header of a GXT grid to float down when scrolling down the grid (the way Excel headers can do) so that the grid header is visible all the time.

Any ideas?

Thank you

When you scroll a grid, header is always visible. Check this example out: http://www.sencha.com/examples/explorer.html#basicgrid

Yes, you are right. Sorry for that. We have a grid in a tabPanel and if the window is resized, the scrollbar for the entire tab item appears. The idea was to keep the grid header when scrolling down the tab item area.

I have attached some screenshots. In the first one, the grid header appears. In the second one, it remains up there and we only see the rows.

This sounds like you are having an issue in your layoutchain. You should try to post your code in a small and standalone testcase implementing EntryPoint.
