As a developer working with the Ext and Touch Library it is a bit contra productive to find same design elements under different toolbox groups.

In Ext, toolbar spacers are grouped under toolbar.
Touch toolbar spacers are grouped under Standard.

It would be great, if same design elements could be grouped for both libs nearly the same way.
I think it is also more straight forward to find toolbar corresponding elements in a more context sensitive way.

I know that spacers can also be used in flex containers, but maybe they should be also (redundantly) available inside toolbar group to access them more context sensitive at the time of creating toolbars.

If you disagree, maybe you can move the ext spacer to standard.

Cheers Holger

We definitely agree. Please report any discrepancies that you may find between the two frameworks.

On closer review, I retract my above statement/agreement with you.

In Ext JS 4, the spacer is specifically created to work with the toolbar. It is in the toolbar package namespace and also depends on being within a toolbar.

For evidence:
http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#!/api/Ext.toolbar.Spacer
http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/source/Spacer.html#Ext-toolbar-Spacer

In Touch, the spacer is a standard component and can be used generally. It is because of this that they are in different categories.
