Is this on the roadmap?

Is the only reason why firefox is not supported because of those special -web-kit css rules?

It would be nice if I can deploy the same code to IE9/FF/Chrome/Safari/Opera, which will cover up to 80% of the desktop browser market share and increasing.

Else I'll be forced to downgrade from Sencha Touch 2 to Ext 4. :((

Please put it on your road map if it isn't already. :D

Sencha Touch is geared towards mobile platforms. Firefox and Opera have a very small (not even worth it) footprint on mobile platforms. IE9 isn't on a mobile platform. Mobile Safari is default browser on iOS and iOS 4/5 is supported. Chrome for Android is on 4.0.3+ and is supported.

IE9 does run on Windows Phone, soon to become quite popular in alliance with Nokia. Are you planning compatibility?

We currently do not have any public statement to make on that.
