Two of us here swear we had this working somewhere in our code but can't find it. We want a textfield to bring up the numeric keyboard on the device without causing Chrome to put spinners on the desktop. How do I do this?

This is deprecated (works but Chrome has spinners):

inputType: 'number'

And this doesn't work at all:

input: {
type: 'number'
},

Just made a new text field extension I am calling Ux.field.PatternText. What it does is extends from Ext.field.Text but uses the pattern <input> attribute along with some validation. The example will show only the numeric keyboard tested on iOS 5.1 and on desktop will only allow the numbers, delete/backspace, and arrow keys.

Like the component Mitchell. Found my code where I did it embarrassed how easy it was:

xtype: 'numberfield'

Looking at the source code for numberfield it adds ui: 'number' which I'm guessing removes the spinners in Chrome.
