Hi,

I am trying to upload an updated apk file to Google Play, but its giving me this error:

The new apk's versionCode (1) already exists.

I tried adding a versionCode config entry to the packager.json file and incrementing this to 1.1 and tried 2, but still the same error comes back from Google Play.

Anyone encountered this?

In your packager.json, you changed the "versionString" option?

Yes, I changed from

"versionString":"1.0"

to

"versionString":"1.0.1"

in the packager config, I tried a versionCode string but I dont that's supported? Reading on other Android forums, you need to supply a versionCode value in the manifest file of the app.

versionCode taken from versionString, but as versionCode is integer then means then 1.0.1 is equal to 1 and actually all 1.x values give versionCode "1", so you need to specify "2.0" there in order to update versionCode.
I will add new key in config file to separate these two values. And upload new version very soon to this thread

Try this updated version: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8793605/stbuild.msi
you can add versionCode now to the config
